Dec 18, 2024. #1. I finished my first MS660 kit build. Everything went great except the chain adjuster. I bought an oem chain adjuster and it didnt fix the adjuster problem. It feels like the two gears are not meshing. I have heard guys shimming something but I dont know what they are shimming or what they are using.

It’s just the truth. Better oiler and outboard clutch keeps heat off the bearings and seals. The 070/090 design is supposed to be a PITA for milling because the oil and fuel cannot be replenished mid cut without removing the saw from the wood.
